Where is the real low cost?!

I am booking my flight right now. From London to Milan on the 1st of July. And of course as recent graduate student pay a britsh airways flight is almost impossible. Of course, first thing that comes to my mind is the low cost airlines. And what surprise… Ryanair raised the cost of the piece of luggage! 24 GBP for a round trip! Is that really low cost?! Plus the allowance is only 15kg, which is 5kg less than all other “normal fares” companies! So, this means that if you are someone that always carry a lot of things with you, you will have to pay an extra… Plus there is the fact that you have to play for airport transfer… so, add +-20 euros! When you go to pay, the price rises 6 euros if you want to pay with credit card!!! Come on?! Are they really low cost? Not even a drink they offer. Off course you must pay!
